The San Francisco Field Hockey Team was founded in 1998.

It was founded with two basic principles - play good hockey and have fun. We compete in the Bay Area Field Hockey Association (BAFHA). The outdoor season runs from February-July.

New players are always welcome. Although we are a men's team and play in the men's league, we have had  several women who have played on our team.

In our seven years of competing in the BAFHA League, we have won the league four times
